Connie Chapman is a life coach, teacher, and writer. She’s been featured in leading publications in her native Australia and around the world, and interviewed on top-ranking podcasts.
Given this level of success, you might ask, “How could this woman benefit from the Tarot?”
When Connie had her cards read at a friend’s wedding, the reader deduced, based on the cards, that Connie was a teacher and a life coach. Then the reader told Connie she was “too connected to her masculine energy.” She needed to accept her feminine side and change.
Connie realised the reader was correct – so much so that during the reading she began to cry.
Connie had long viewed being a woman as synonymous with weakness. Growing up, she’d watched her mother sit home while her father travelled, had exciting adventures, and earned money. He became her role model and the one she was desperate to please through her career success.
In so doing, she pushed aside qualities that she saw as weak and feminine: emotions, creativity, sensitivity, etc. But as a result of her Tarot reading, she now embraces these aspects of herself.
As Connie puts it, “This was my permission slip to allow my feminine side to be fully expressed. To peel back layers of self-protective armour I had built around my heart.”
