Seven of Wands – a Tarot card to triumph!
It’s time to take a stand when the Seven of Wands shows up in your reading. The Rider Waite card shows a man doing just that – and guess what? He’s triumphing!
The man stands on a hill with a staff in his hands and a determined expression on his face. Below him, six unseen others raise staffs toward him, but he seems to be out of their reach.
Seven is famed as a lucky number – it’s certainly lucky for the man in the picture, because, after all, he’s winning! So yes, in the Tarot, too, seven is a magic number, a lucky number, a number of individuality and creativity. Wands also stand for creativity, so this card embodies the essence of success that results from creative solutions.
When this card is reversed or placed near negative cards, it may be saying you’re in a battle you can’t win, or you’re putting too much energy and struggle into your present conflicts. You may need to learn to pick your battles.
Otherwise, the card is telling you to use your mental abundance and develop creative ways to take a stand on important issues — whether they have to do with work, family, friendships or romance. “Be sure you’re right, and then go ahead.” Make sure you believe in your position — and in yourself. If your cause is just, the power of the Seven of Wands may make a difference in your life.
(The Housewives’ Tarot has an interesting image – toothbrushes floating around a loo!!)
