This Website is owned by Tarot by Email Limited, registered as a Limited Company in England.

We take user privacy seriously and take reasonable efforts to protect it. We have created this Privacy Policy in order to share with you our information collection and use practices. We will never knowingly sell or assign your personal information without your knowledge and approval. Please read this Policy carefully before sharing any personally identifiable information described below.

By using, registering your details on this website, you agree to the collection, use and transfer of your information under the terms of this policy. Since this is a growing web site and because Internet technologies are constantly evolving, this Policy is subject to change at any time and any changes will be posted on this page.

Your rights under GDPR

  • In line with the GDPR, this section confirms your rights.
  • The personal data we hold may include your name, email address and company details. We will never sell this information or pass it on to anyone else,  it is simply used to provide you with information about our services that we believe you may be interested in.
  • If you would prefer for your information to be deleted, this will happen immediately.
  • If you request any information about the data we hold, we will supply this free-of-charge within 14 days.
  • The lawful basis on which we process data is to keep you informed about services in which you have shown an interest.
  • We will keep your information until you ask us not to.
  • You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe we have mishandled your data.
  • You gave your consent for us to contact you by opting in by booking a Tarot reading.  We do not add people to a mailing list. Your details will be kept and used only for the purpose of the reading you have booked.

What identifiable information do we collect and how is it used?

The personal information we collect is your email address and name. Your details will be stored in PayPal, which is a separate organisation with its own policy on data handling.

The personal information we hold is used purely to contact you in regards to your Tarot reading. We may use or disclose your personally identifiable information to:

  • enable you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;
  • provide products/services that you have requested;
  • respond to your enquiries or requests.

We do not currently operate a mailing list.

Disclosure

The only time we would disclose your name on certain pages would be if you have agreed to participate in a case study; in which case we will have your written agreement to name and quote you.

We may also disclose personally identifiable information in the establishment or exercise of legal rights or defenses against legal claims, to comply with applicable laws or regulations, to comply with a valid legal process, such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order or to investigate suspected fraud or a violation of our Terms and Conditions of Use.

We will never sell your information to any  third-party not affiliated with Tarot By Email Ltd without consent, except in connection with the sale or merger of the company or the division responsible for such services provided.

Do we have a newsletter?

We do not currently send out a newsletter.

At this time, we do not plan to disclose your information to third parties for any reason and would never sell your data.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.

Being a small business, we sometimes work at external locations, including clients’ offices, cafés where we believe the wifi is secure, libraries and other public spaces. Every means is taken to protect your information at all times.

Of course. The law gives you the option to remove personally identifiable information from any list of active users. We currently do not operate such a list.

We are not responsible for removing your personally identifiable information from the lists of any 3rd-party partner or advertiser who has previously been provided your information in accordance with this policy.

Our website is maintained in the U.K.  If you are located outside of the U.K., by using the website, you authorise the import of your information and its use, as specified in this policy.

This website may contain links to various 3rd-party websites and the external websites of advertisers and/or 3rd-party partners. At the time of writing (24 April 2018) we do not have any advertisers on this website, although there are links to products on the Amazon website.
