Thinking about starting your own business? Five Tarot cards that can guide you…

tarot | zoomtarot | tarotbyemail | emailtarot | tarot readings | tarot reader | Tarot London | corporate tarot | business tarotThinking about starting your own business?

There isn’t a specific Tarot card that directly represents starting a business venture. However, several cards can provide insights and guidance related to entrepreneurship and taking the path of starting out on your own. Here are just a few of the cards that are often associated with business and entrepreneurship:

  • The Magician: This Trump card represents creativity, resourcefulness and utilising your skills and resources to bring your ideas into reality. The Magician signifies the ability to use your initiative and make things happen – manifesting your goals, which is essential when starting a business. Drawing this card would suggest that you have the skills and capabilities needed to start and manage your own business effectively.

  • The Ace of Pentacles: This card represents new beginnings, opportunities, and the potential for material success. It signifies the birth of a prosperous venture and financial stability, making it relevant to starting a business.

  • The Emperor: This card represents authority, leadership, and structure. It symbolises your ability to plan, organise, and establish a strong foundation, which are all crucial qualities for a successful business owner.

  • The Six of Pentacles: This card represents generosity, giving and fair exchange. It suggests that when starting your own business, it’s important to maintain a balanced approach between giving and receiving.

  • The Three of Pentacles: This card represents collaboration, teamwork, and the mastery of skills. It can indicate that seeking support and advice from others, such as mentors or business partners, will be beneficial in your entrepreneurial journey.

It’s important to approach your venture with determination and a willingness to learn from previous experiences, as well as addressing any fears or concerns you may have. Don’t be afraid or too proud to seek support and guidance from other people to enhance your chances of success. And remember, the outcome ultimately depends on your actions, decisions, and commitment to your business goals.

Tarot cards have multiple layers of interpretation, and their meaning can vary depending on the context of the reading and the surrounding cards. In a reading, these example cards would provide a starting point, but the interpretation may differ based on my perspective as the reader, and the specific question you asked.

Is divorce on the cards?

tarot | zoomtarot | tarotbyemail | emailtarot | tarot readings | tarot reader | Tarot London | corporate tarot | business tarotThere is no one specific tarot card that represents divorce, as tarot cards are meant to be interpreted within the context of the individual reading. However, there are certain cards that may suggest challenges, conflicts, or changes in relationships that could potentially lead to a break up.

.

Here are a few examples:

.

.

.

  1. The three of Swords: This card looks unpleasant; in the Rider Waite deck it shows a heart pierced by three swords against a backdrop of clouds and rain. It’s definitely doom and gloom and can certainly signify heartbreak. But the context is all important here, so don’t panic if this card shows up in your reading – the position and context are always important.
    .
  2. The Tower: This card represents upheaval, chaos, and sudden change. In the context of a relationship reading, it could suggest a major conflict or crisis that could lead to a divorce.
    .
  3. The Five of Cups: This card represents disappointment, loss, and grief. In the context of a relationship reading, it could suggest a sense of regret or sorrow over a failed marriage or relationship.
    .
  4. The Ten of Swords: This card represents betrayal, pain, and endings. In the context of a relationship reading, it could suggest a painful breakup or divorce.
    .
  5. The Eight of Cups: This card represents moving on, letting go, and seeking new horizons. n the context of a relationship reading, it could suggest a desire to end a stagnant or unfulfilling relationship and move on to new opportunities.
    .

Again, it’s important to remember that tarot readings are highly subjective and can vary based on the individual reader and the context of the reading. These cards may not necessarily indicate divorce in every reading, and other cards may also be relevant depending on the specific situation being explored.

The Tarot’s Empress and our Easter Celebrations

tarot | zoomtarot | tarotbyemail | emailtarot | tarot readings | tarot reader | Tarot London | corporate tarot | business tarotEaster is traditionally thought of as a Christian holiday, however there are also some Pagan traditions that have been associated with the holiday, particularly in relation to the Spring Equinox and the renewal of life.

One of these traditions is the celebration of the goddess Eostre or Ostara, the pagan goddess of spring and fertility who is often associated with new beginnings and the arrival of spring. The holiday of Easter probably derived its name from this goddess, as the Old English word for the holiday was “Eostre.”

Eostre is associated with the Major Arcana Tarot card “The Empress.” This card represents fertility, feminine power, creativity, abundance and nurturing, all of which are qualities ascribed to Eostre.

In some interpretations of The Empress card, the figure is depicted surrounded by flowers, birds, and other symbols of new life and growth, which further connect her to the themes of spring and fertility – and she often looks pregnant. This card can be seen as a representation of the divine feminine energy that is present in all things, and which is often associated with the earth, nature, and the cycle of life and death.

The Empress card I’ve shared here is from the beautiful Salvador Dali deck – isn’t she a gorgeous, mystical woman?!

We don’t have a great deal of historical information about Eostre, and much of what we know comes from folklore and mythology rather than documented fact. However, the idea of a goddess associated with spring and renewal has persisted in many cultures, and can still be seen in modern celebrations of Easter and other springtime holidays.
