As a Tarot reader I’m often asked about people’s weddings – questions such as is there one on the horizon, will it lead to a happy future and when will it take place? Brides tend to love a summer wedding and hope to see Tarot cards pop up that predict a wonderful day.
The following six cards that are often connected to love, celebration, and summertime, and would make a forthcoming bride smile brightly!
- The Lovers: This card represents harmony, partnership, and choices. It often symbolizes love and the coming together of two individuals.
- The Sun: A card of happiness, joy, and vitality. The Sun represents success, celebration, and a sense of fulfilment. It is associated with warm and sunny summer days.
- The Empress: Symbolizing fertility, abundance and nurturing energy, The Empress is often associated with weddings, family, and the creation of new life.
- The Four of Wands: This card signifies celebration, harmony, and a joyous occasion. It can represent weddings, parties, or festive gatherings, making it relevant to a summer wedding. It’s particularly relevant to Jewish people as it symbolises the Chupa, or canopy that people marry beneath.
- The Ten of Cups: Another card of emotional fulfilment, happiness and harmonious relationships. It is often seen as a representation of lasting love and domestic bliss.
- The Three of Cups: This card indicates celebration, friendship, and joyful connections. It represents coming together with loved ones and creating memorable moments, which aligns with the spirit of a wedding celebration.
If you’re planning a wedding, congratulations!! I wish you much happiness always.
But what if the Tarot doesn’t show what you’re hoping to see? Remember that it’s important to approach tarot readings with an open mind and consider them as a form of self-reflection and inspiration rather than definitive predictions of the future. Nothing is ever set in stone, and everyone is empowered to change their path if they don’t like the one they’re on.

Although the Tarot cards can offer you insights and guidance, the ultimate decision of whether or not to work abroad is a personal one that will always depend on various factors in your life.

Thinking about starting your own business?
There isn’t a specific Tarot card that directly represents starting a business venture. However, several cards can provide insights and guidance related to entrepreneurship and taking the path of starting out on your own. Here are just a few of the cards that are often associated with business and entrepreneurship:
- The Magician: This Trump card represents creativity, resourcefulness and utilising your skills and resources to bring your ideas into reality. The Magician signifies the ability to use your initiative and make things happen – manifesting your goals, which is essential when starting a business. Drawing this card would suggest that you have the skills and capabilities needed to start and manage your own business effectively.
- The Ace of Pentacles: This card represents new beginnings, opportunities, and the potential for material success. It signifies the birth of a prosperous venture and financial stability, making it relevant to starting a business.
- The Emperor: This card represents authority, leadership, and structure. It symbolises your ability to plan, organise, and establish a strong foundation, which are all crucial qualities for a successful business owner.
- The Six of Pentacles: This card represents generosity, giving and fair exchange. It suggests that when starting your own business, it’s important to maintain a balanced approach between giving and receiving.
- The Three of Pentacles: This card represents collaboration, teamwork, and the mastery of skills. It can indicate that seeking support and advice from others, such as mentors or business partners, will be beneficial in your entrepreneurial journey.
It’s important to approach your venture with determination and a willingness to learn from previous experiences, as well as addressing any fears or concerns you may have. Don’t be afraid or too proud to seek support and guidance from other people to enhance your chances of success. And remember, the outcome ultimately depends on your actions, decisions, and commitment to your business goals.
Tarot cards have multiple layers of interpretation, and their meaning can vary depending on the context of the reading and the surrounding cards. In a reading, these example cards would provide a starting point, but the interpretation may differ based on my perspective as the reader, and the specific question you asked.

Great Britain has a new King! As King Charles III and Queen Camilla were crowned last weekend, let’s look at the Tarot’s four Majestic Men.
In Tarot, the four King cards generally represent authority, leadership and mastery. They are often associated with a dominant male figure, although they can also represent female leaders or influential people in our lives.
King of Wands:
The King of Wands is a fiery and passionate leader. He represents creativity, inspiration and confidence. He is often associated with careers in business, entrepreneurship, or creative fields. For example, if the King of Wands appears in a career reading, it could indicate that you are in a leadership position or have the potential to be a successful entrepreneur.
King of Cups:
The King of Cups represents emotional intelligence and compassion. He is often associated with careers in counselling, therapy or other ‘helping’ professions. He is also a symbol of love, kindness and sensitivity – a father figure. If the King of Cups appears in a love reading, it could indicate that you’re seeking a partner who is emotionally mature and compassionate.
King of Swords:
The King of Swords represents intellect and logical thinking. He’s often associated with careers in law, politics or academia – also the Armed Forces. He is also a symbol of authority and power. For example, if the King of Swords appears in a career reading, it could mean that you’re in a leadership position that requires strategic thinking and decision-making.
King of Pentacles:
The King of Pentacles represents financial stability and material success. He is often associated with careers in finance, real estate or other business fields, and is a symbol of abundance and luxury. If the King of Pentacles appears in a financial reading, it could show you’ll experience financial success or stability in the near future.
Don’t forget that the meanings of Tarot cards can vary depending on the context of the reading and the spread (surrounding cards). These examples are just a starting point for interpreting the King cards in a reading.
